I used to really love this hotel. And still do but with some caveats. The grounds are beautiful except for the ponds. Ponds are ugly. The rooms are great except the AC (when they work) are super loud. Our AC never got below 70F and it ran non stop. Someone else in our party their AC didn’t work well for their entire stay. Hot room. Hot Florida. Not good.
The hotel feels very very dated. The lobby area is nice but the restaurants here suck. We went to eat at other places all the time. The main pool area looks very dated and the hotels just feels very tired.
However, the beds are super comfy and water pressure was great. Access to the gondola was great. And you can see Epcots fireworks super close. So that was a plus.
Over all not bad but if you get a hot room you will have a bad time. Prob won’t stay here again until they remodel. In the end the main purpose of a hotel is to test and sleep. So if your room is hot then what’s the point of everything else?

We really enjoyed our experience. The rooms aren’t grand and the resort is sprawled out, so there’s a lot of walking involved, but we loved it. With such a big resort and such a great pool, we weren’t in the room much, even on days when we didn’t go to a park. Most of all, I loved that this resort was on the skyliner, which we used as our primary form of transportation for our entire stay.
The value was good, especially since we were able to take advantage of one of their deals. We would definitely stay here again.

This was our first time staying here, and it was worth it! The rooms were very clean, lots of drawers and hangers, comfy bed, and exactly what we needed. The main pool with the slide was a favorite with our kids. Just wish they had more chairs to sit. I have a good allergy and they accommodated me very well. They brought out the chef to make sure my food was gluten free.
Love how easy it was to get on the bus or skyline to get to the parks.

Upon arriving at the main entrance around 9:00 AM, we were told our room was ready. However, the room was a major disappointment. The Murphy bed was broken and stained, the room felt outdated, and the air conditioning didn’t function properly. When I contacted the front desk, I was told we should be happy with the upgrade and they did not have another room. I explained this room doesn’t look like what we had booked, and did not feel like an upgrade, but a downgrade. A housekeeper later confirmed the bed was broken and said someone else would need to fix it. With three excited kids eager to get to Magic Kingdom, waiting in a broken room was far from ideal. Eventually, we were told the room would be repaired and we wouldn’t need to move.
The room was repaired while we were at MK, just wish it would have been the room we booked. The room we stayed in was the "Little Mermaid" room.

So this was our first time staying in this resort. I found it clean. The AC worked pretty well even though it's restricted to no lower than 68, but it did allow the unit fan to run constantly. Having a ceiling fan in the room was very nice.
The moderately sized mini-fridge in the room was nice.
Parking is a bit of a hike from some buildings, but nothing excessive.
Our building in Trinidad was near the pool and snack shack, so that was convenient.
I found the bathroom in the room to be excessively small but quite functional. There were no issues with water pressure, and it had two sinks, but they didn't drain super well.
The rooms were mostly quiet. Obviously, this relies somewhat on your neighbors... ours were very loud (screaming kids, etc), and the room did a pretty good job of filtering a lot of that out.
The bed was acceptable, and there were 6 pillows for the 2 of us, so that was nice.
These rooms have 2 additional "pull out" beds, one twin and one full... how people would stay 5 to a room here is beyond me. No way I'd even consider that, it's almost too small for 2 people (adults).
There are only 2 floors in the buildings and I would definitely recommend getting a room on floor 2. These are "motel" style rooms with the access door leading to the "porch" or walkway outdoors.
Overall I was pleased with our stay.
We wished there was:
More shaded areas at the pools.
More room between the main bed and the wall.
More space in the shower/toilet area.
More beside table area.
