I rented here because I bought points from a Disney Vacation club member. I was a little disappointed witC the outdated rooms. I went in mid March, and will say that the air conditioning was great. It kept the rooms cool. I was not a fan of the dining on the resort, and was disappointed that there was not dining available after 9pm. I was expecting at minimum quick service. This was just okay for me. The obvious perks are staying on property, having access to Disney transportation, and the Disney extended magic hours. We had a resort view so we didn’t see the animals too much unless we ate at a restaurant. I did include photos of some animals from the restaurant we ate at.

As a DVC owner this is the first resort i have been to that i was disappointed in. It is such a disconnect being all over the place. If your places in the pumba area be prepared for a walk to anything. The pool area was nice for kids but i feel as this resort lacked compared to other's. Yes we have a safari room that saw the same 5 animals no matter what time of day. The staff workers for the animals made it seem the animals were different on the jambo side when the staff on jambo said they are all the same. Parking is a joke. My hotel room was in pumba area 12 was my elevator and got stuck parking in area 3 near the beginning of the hotel. The staff who work here are not very talkative social. Just not the disney feel i have had at 6 other resorts.

I give this place 4.5 stars. The service was nice. We had a great experience at the check-in desk. The rooms are a little outdated, but get the job done. The location, however, is a bit far from the parks and feels like everything takes 30-45 minutes to get to anywhere because it's only bus option. The atmosphere however is quite and relaxing, if you enjoy watching animals, this is the spot. Sat on my balcony one evening definitely enjoyed the view. Many different species available at different spots around the hotel, it was fun to see the giraffes run.

What an incredible stay we had in a two bedroom lockout suite with savanna view!!! Awesome room design - love the Disney details so much!! Savanna view was worth every penny as we saw giraffes and zebras nearly every day. The pool area at Kidani Village is SO much nicer that Jambo, with an awesome kids play area and a smaller “watering hole” feeling. This resort is pretty far away from Magic Kingdom but not too bad to the rest, especially AK of course!!

This was our first time staying at the village. We have been twice before, but at the jumbo house. The things that stand out as a difference are the cool area and splash pad at Kidani are amazing. Also, the atmosphere is much more relaxed and calm. The food is really good at Sanaa, but if you do not go there, there are not very many other options.
